Corporation announces the Valor™ 5000 line of standard (6,000d) and high resolution (30,000d) compact bench scales clearly and quickly display results within two seconds. A large, backlit LCD display with multiple weight units provides efficient measurement in industrial, packaging, packing and checkweighing applications.
Valor 5000 combines fast display updates and high-precision load cells with a smooth, easy-to-clean, spill-resistant ABS plastic housing and stainless steel pan. It offers LED display of checkweighing results and an audible buzzer to alert users when limits are reached. Simultaneously, Valor 5000 makes use of bright annunciators for scale stability, center of zero, and net and tare weights, thus promoting time-efficient weighing in any setting.
The Valor 5000 bench scale is NSF listed/certified to NSF/ANSI 169-2005 (formerly NSF C-2) and USDA-AMS accepted to NSF/3-A 14159-1. The scale also supports Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) compliance. When used in checkweighing mode, it functions with three LED indicators and an audible alarm. It provides readings in multiple weighing units, including percent weighing, lb, decimal and fractional oz, kg, g, and lb:oz. Offering a remote tare foot switch connection for flexible operation, the scale also has an integrated level bubble and adjustable slip-resistant rubber feet, and uses a standard AC power adapter with an internal lead acid rechargeable battery pack (120-hour typical operation on a full charge) for excellent portability.
The Valor 5000 scale can display selectable weighing units, weighing all, some or only one weighing unit to match the requirements of a specific operation. The Valor 5000 can display fractional (1/4, 1/2) or decimal ounces, even in a combined lb:oz display. For metric use, it can display results in kilograms or grams, with a readability ranging from 0.1g to 5g (model specific). Operating it in Percent mode also allows users to compare the weight of a sample as a percentage of a reference weight.
Valor 5000 can be set to the mode and weighing units required, and then locked-in using either software or hardware locks to ensure the critical configuration is not changed accidentally.
